Our Origin Story
CutieRide was founded in 2024 by Claire Harrison after years of frustration navigating the traditional, male-dominated automotive aftermarket. Typical car blogs focused obsessively on horsepower, exhaust notes, and technical modifications, while completely ignoring the practical everyday realities of women drivers: keeping handbags off dirty floorboards, securing 40oz Stanley tumblers, keeping clean air circulating during traffic jams, and having reliable, independent roadside emergency power.
Our Testing & Review Standards
To provide advice you can trust with your hard-earned money, CutieRide adheres to strict editorial standards:
- Independent Selection: We never accept payment to review a product. We purchase our own test samples or select vetted models based on rigorous material analysis.
- Real-Life Vehicle Usability: We test whether cup adapters fit real center consoles, whether materials off-gas toxic chemical smells under hot summer sun, and whether emergency tools can be operated single-handedly in pitch darkness.
- Honest Trade-Offs: No product is perfect. If a steering wheel cover requires significant hand strength to install, or if a trunk bin slides on rubber liners, we say so directly.
